We especially love their sale section!
The Citizenry
This online shop sells beautiful pieces handcrafted by artisans in various countries around the world. You can find exquisite rugs, decor pieces, pillows, and plenty more.

Although their modern styles are a bit different from the type of furniture you see at Pottery Barn, you may likely fall in love with Modshop.

Stores like Pottery Barn, but Cheaper
Nordstrom Rack
While Nordstrom Rack is a wonderful place for discounted workout gear, a lot of people don’t know that this store is a hot spot for home decor too!
While furniture tends to be pricey (even with discounts), many smaller items are a steal.
Wayfair
This huge home store has options for every price range and every style.
One of our favorite things about Wayfair is the “frequently bought together” section on every product.
Their frequent sales are usually budget-friendly, or you can always browse by price/category. They also have open box where you can find discounted prices on opened items!
World Market
If you like the rustic vibes you can find at Pottery Barn, you’ll love the furniture and decor at World Market!
They have a wide selection of unique items to customize your home with. Plus, everything is much cheaper than Pottery Barn.
Birch Lane
Birch Lane has fantastic pricing and frequent sales to save you even more! They feature farmhouse, rustic, traditional, and coastal styles.
This is a sister brand of Wayfair (listed below), but you might prefer Birch Lane if you’re looking for furniture like Pottery Barn, but less expensive.
Ikea
Many pieces from Ikea are much cheaper than Pottery Barn without skimping on quality.
While most of their products aren’t overly unique, they’re a great choice if you need something simple and sturdy.
Target
Who doesn’t love shopping at Target? Their furniture and home decor selections are amazing, especially the seasonal decor.
Plus, their return policy is very lenient in case anything doesn’t work out (you can return Target brands for an entire year)!

Hobby Lobby
One of the lesser known stores like Pottery Barn, Hobby Lobby has inexpensive home decor and even furniture that you will love.
The key is to shop when they have their frequent 50% off (or more) sales.
Ashley Homestore
Although some collections are comparable in price to Pottery Barn, the majority of Ashley Home products are more affordable.
Their daily deals and clearance sections are always worth browsing through!
Overstock
If you’re looking for deals, you’ve come to the right place. Similar to TJMaxx, Overstock sells discounted products from retailers that have too much inventory.
They have everything you could imagine when it comes to home decor and furniture. Plus, amazing deals.
Urban Outfitters
Although this store isn’t very similar to Pottery Barn in general, Urban Outfitters has reasonably priced, trendy decor items that teens love.
It’s definitely not the most affordable place for large pieces of furniture, but it’s a great place to add some finishing touches to your room (and is a great spot for gifts).

Stores like Pottery Barn For Kids + Teens
Target
The problem with shopping for kids rooms? They’ll probably outgrow their decor within a few years. That cute princess alarm clock at age 10 might not be so cute at age 14.
Because of this, Target is a great Pottery Barn alternative for kids rooms, no matter what age.
Ikea
Many pieces from Ikea are cheaper than Pottery Barn without skimping on quality. If your kid or teen needs a simple dresser or bed that will last for years, Ikea is perfect.
Wayfair
We also mentioned this in the “cheap” section, but Wayfair is another great spot to find decor and furniture for kids or teens.
With plenty of inexpensive deals, you won’t have to worry about splurging on furniture that they will outgrow.
