Earth To Skin, it sounds good, right? It elicits visions of waterfalls, sunny fields, and chirping birds. But is it actually so idyllic? Once you hear that this is Walmart’s skincare line, you might be giving it second thoughts. We’ve tested out the brand to provide our in-depth Earth to Skin reviews!

What is Earth To Skin?

Sold at Walmart and Amazon, Earth To Skin is a skincare brand with four main lines: Super Fruits for brightening and hydration, Honey for protection and moisture, Tea Time for reduction of fine lines, and Super Greens for detoxification and refreshment.

The premise behind Earth To Skin is that the products are all-natural, with only natural ingredients, never anything harmful or artificial (according to their website).

Earth to Skin Overview

Earth to Skin claims to not use anything artificial, which simply means not naturally occurring. However, it is nearly impossible to create a skincare product without any artificial ingredients. You’re going to need some if only to extend the shelf life of a product. In order for a product to last more than a few days, preservatives must be added.

If you go to the Walmart website and click on any of their products, you can see the ingredient lists, and they don’t look particularly impressive to me. For instance, the Banana Eye Cream includes things like Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Dimethicone, and Phenoxyethanol. These are not natural ingredients.

To be clear, natural ingredients do not have to be simple like “banana extract,” but all three of these ingredients (and many others in the Earth To Skin products) are synthetically manufactured.

However, the line is not all bad. The website states that their products are made without parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, mineral oil, sulfates, or gluten, and they are not tested on animals. Major plus!

Earth to Skin Reviews

Overall: ★★★★ 4 stars

Overall, the products are pretty decent, and smell great! They might not be as effective as high-end skincare but for the cost, they’re worth it.

Price: ★★★★ 4 stars

Most items are $5–$10, an incredibly affordable price. Also, you can get any of the 4-piece starter kits for just $9.98.

Quality: ★★★★ 4 stars

Most customers say that the products are good for their sensitive skin and don’t break them out. The products seem to do a good job, but they won’t necessarily change your life.

Super Fruits Starter Kit Review

This starter kit includes the Blueberry Exfoliating Cleanser, Citrus Day Cream, Avocado Overnight Mask, and Banana Eye Cream.

It is meant to brighten skin for a radiant look!

Honey Manuka Starter Set Review

This starter kit contains the Honey cleanser, Manuka Honey Day Cream, Manuka Honey Night Cream, and Royal Jelly Eye Cream.

Because honey is a known humectant, the items in this kit are meant to protect and moisturize skin.

Tea Time Anti-Aging Set Review

This set includes the White Tea Cleanser, White Tea Day Cream, Black Tea Night Cream, and Chamomile Eye Cream.

As the name suggests, it is meant to combat aging.

Super Greens Starter Set Review

This set contains the Super Greens Cleanser, Super Greens Day Cream, Super Greens Night Cream, and Super Greens Eye Cream. These items are targeted towards revitalizing your skin.

Aside from the kits, you can also buy their single products. View their entire collection!

What Customers Are Saying

The customers seem to like this line, with most products having an average of over a 4-star review. Here are the main points of feedback from customers:

  • Decent products
  • Good for sensitve skin
  • Smells really good
  • Very affordable
  • Gets the job done but not that life-changing

As for those of us at ClothedUp, we have some thoughts of our own. We went into this with some apprehensions, and after trying the products ourselves, we liked it overall! It wasn’t overly impressive, however.

Our editor, Laurice, tried a couple of their products, and here is her insight:

“I tried their Super Fruits Starter Set ($10) and had a good experience! They’re not the type of skincare products that made me glow for days, but they gave it moisture and didn’t give my skin a reaction, which is always a good thing. I also love the price point since I’m used to spending $30+ on a product.

They advertised this set to be brightening – although it definitely gave my dry skin moisture, it didn’t make it seem any brighter. I might need to use it for a longer period of time though, so I will update if anything changes.

I also love the smell! That said, I’m not sure how natural they actually are considering the mile-long list of ingredients.”

Return Policy

If you buy from a separate retailer like Amazon, you’ll have to follow that site’s return policy. However, if you buy directly from the Earth to Skin Website, their policy states that a refund must be initiated within 14 days of receiving the product and that they deal with returns on a “case by case basis.”

Bottom Line

Overall, Walmart’s skin line can be a great way to save a few bucks on your skincare routine. Some people had a great experience with them, while others didn’t notice much of a difference. However, we didn’t notice many negative Earth to Skin reviews, so they have to be doing something right!

Regardless, it’s not a huge investment, so why not try one of their smaller kits if you’re still debating on trying them out?
